1980 DOUBLE LP

BLACK GOLD CONCERTS, ONTARIO, CANADA
BN-1980

The Who unofficial release double live album at the Riverfront Stadium recorded December 3, 1979. The concert is infamous for the tragic deaths of 11 concert-goers (along with 23 other injured when too many people tried to push through too few doors, believing the concert had already started when it was only the band doing a soundcheck. Despite the tasteless title of the album, it is a rare collector's item, and it is said the concert was pretty good. Track 1 is an interview with Pete Townshend.

Cover is Excellent in my estimation but I'm going to rate it VG+ only because it is a little wavy (warpy) but that doesn't affect anything. The vinyl (blank labels all the way around, no indication of side numbers) is Near Mint looking unplayed.
