Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 1st U.K. MONO pressing of The Who – The Who Sell Out on the Track label, cat. no. 612 002.
The record is in VG+ condition, there are a some non sounding hairlines and there are a couple non-sounding marks. I’ve test played this record and there is one skip on “I Can’t Reach You”. Besides this, it plays very well through with only slight background noise and an occasional pop and click. The flat black Track labels are in EX minus condition, there are some spindle marks only.
The laminated cover is in VG (+)condition, there is some wear along the opening edge (some slight feathering and a crease) and two small pieces of laminate (including paint) are missing from the bottom section, but in my opinion, this is nothing serious.
Although not in a dream Mint condition, this first U.K. MONO copy of The Who Sell Out is getting very hard to find these days. Not only does the mono mix of this Who album sounds better, the mix of “Odorono” is different to the stereo. So, if you’re looking for a great playing copy or want to complete your WHO collection, this copy is the one!

Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 15.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
