Description

A great opportunity to buy a copy of a VINYL LP from the 60's by The Who called The Who Sell Out.

This is the ORIGINAL first U.K. issue released in 1967 on the Track label (612 002 mono) with the original matt black label.

Please note, it does NOT contain the sticker or limited edition poster which only the first 500 copies had included.

It has a total of 13 tracks:-

Side One - Armenia City In The Sky; Heinz Baked Beans; Mary Anne With The Shaky Hand; Odorono; Tattoo; Our Love Was; I Can See For Miles.

Side Two - Can't Reach You; Medac; Relax; Silas Stigy; Sunrise; Rael (1 and 2). The tracks are interspersed with "Jingles" advertising various products, along with Radio London references.

The matrix numbers are:- 612002 A 2 - 12 4 and 612002 B 1 1 2 1 1.

The record is in a lovely clean and shiny NEAR-MINT condition, with only a very faint spindle mark evident with angled viewing.

I always grade and examine records under a bright table lamp and there are just the odd marks on the vinyl, which may well have been transit scuffs caused by the inner sleeve. Certainly they have no effect whatsoever on the SUPERB mono sound quality and it is only these very minor marks which stop me from grading this as MINT. This really is a marvellous example of this rare original LP in terrific condition.

The labels are clean and free from any writing or major defects.

The record comes housed within a poly-lined inner sleeve in excellent condition.

The picture cover is overall in an EXCELLENT condition. It is a laminated cover printed and made by Ernest J. Day Ltd. It has been well protected by a PVC cover for probably most of its life and there is very little wear to report. With angled viewing there is a trace of ring-wear on the front, but not the back. The spine is still strong and firm and the text is clearly visible (see photo). The edges are unblemished and the corners show just a hint of wear, but very little. The opening edge is fine and appears hardly used. Apart from the odd minor crease near the top edge, it is a great example of this classic Who album.

There is no reserve on this item so please feel free to bid, but winning bidders - please pay promptly. If payment is a problem, then please do not bid.

The pictures shown are of the actual item.

All vinyl is sent DOUBLE-BOXED in professional boxes with the record removed from the cover and placed within another outer box for added protection and safe transit.
