THE WHO 'MY GENERATION'  1965 MONO LP.

Thw Who's debut LP.

Pressed in Great Britain and released on Brunswick LAT 8616.

Matrix codes:

Side 1:  MG-10256-2B   1   A.

 Side 2: MG-10257-2B   1   C.

Although both labels have the 'M/T' tax code the inner dead wax on both sides has 'KT'.

Play grades as EX.

The record has a lot of spider marks around each spindle hole so has been played a lot [the photos don't pick these up]. However this has been pretty well looked after as there are very few surface marks/light non-feely scratches on either side. There are a few more marks/scuffs visible under strong halogen lights, but again not too many.

The record plays really well with no sticks or jumps and very little surface noise anywhere. However there are a few low level 'tics' in the second half of 'I'm A Man'.

  Front laminated sleeve grades as VG+.

There is no edge wear but there are a few small laminate cracks around the edges of the sleeve and the unlaminated rear has got a little discoloured in places with age.

Poly-lined inner with blue text  VG.

Has no splits or tears but has some creases and has browned in places over the years.

Overall a pretty good copy of an iconic LP.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.  

I normally ship within 1/2 working days of receipt of payment.

All items are shipped using Royal Mail and I always obtain proof of posting for items.

United Kingdom shipments should arrive in 2-5 business days from date of shipping.

For International buyers, shipping is by air mail and shipments should arrive in 5- 10 business days from date of shipping.

Delivery times are approximate, they are in business days after the item is shipped. Also please be aware, especially for International shipping, that circumstances beyond my control after shipping can cause delays.
