TITLE/ARTIST: Welcome to rogersrecords---your Ebay site for great condition, collectible records from the 1950's-60's, and much more. What the title states above is absolutely true! I have a four (4) 45 RPM, boxed set of "Tommy" by The Who from 1970. The four page insert that was also a part of this package is not available with this piece---sorry. However, this is still the original "Prepared Exclusively For Radio Station Programming" promo box set that also has "Not For Sale written on each side of the 45 RPM records. All of these EP's are on the original Gold with black print, Decca Label and ALL four of them are in nearly perfect, practically "like new" condition, as is the box itself, but please view the pictures below, read about the records, and judge everything for yourself. I will show one side of all four records in the pictures below, but trust me, ALL sides are in the same kind of super shape. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above they are on the original Decca Label, numbers 734610-734613, and none of them show any signs of any wear at all---not even spindle lines around the center circles. VINYL INFO: The vinyl of each of them is also extremely shiny, clean, and nice, and virtually "like new"---I honestly cannot believe they were ever played, although I don't know that for sure. They just look THAT good to me!! BOX CONDITION: The box is likewise in very good overall condition, but just a notch or two lower than the vinyl. There are some dirt/wear lines in a few places, but nothing too serious, believe me. INTERESTING FACTS: I really don't know much about this particular 45 RPM promo box set by The Who, but I can say I really like what I see here---and the vinyl's condition is impeccable. Personally, I have never seen this set before, but it is listed in price guides and apparently is quite collectible----so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to list---more "oldie" records by many artists from the '50's-'60's---some RnR, C&W, and Jazz. I am slowly selling off my personal collection, and there are many LPs, EPs and 45's to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed LPs and EPs are quite rare and hard to find, and almost all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
