VERY RARE RED VINYL EDITION OF THE WICKER MAN SOUNDTRACK
This is the second edition on red vinyl with two postcards featuring images from the film and The Wicker Man Location Map by Dave Lally Of The Wicker Man Appreciation Society. Performed by Magnet.Running time 42:47. Released in 1998 on Trunk Records, catalogue number BARKED 4.
Mono recording taken from the original 86 minute music and effects tape, from the "one day" version of the film. This company's editions were the first ever release of the Wicker Man's soundtrack and has been put together with great love and care.
In the matrix runout grooves it has etched:
A-side: "The Little Beetle..." / B-side: "...Goes Round And Round".

Released by Trunk Records, an independent record label which specialises mainly in film scores, library music, sexploitation and kitsch releases. It was founded in 1995 by Jonny Trunk and has since gained a cult following as a result of the releases of much sought-after material from scores for films such as Deep Throat, Kes, The Wicker Man, Blood on Satan's Claw and George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead.
Condition: vinyl, map and postcards all in excellent+ to near mint condition, sleeve at least excellent (the only noticeable wear is there is one small feint crimple to the sleeve on the back, about 2cm long).
This is from my own collection and has been looked after with great care. I will use a cardboard stiffener in the packaging to give the album extra protection.
