You are viewing>>> the WIG 7” titled “CRACKIN’ UP” / “BLUESCENE” released in 1967 on Black Knight Records.  Hard-to-Find Original ‘67 US psychedelic garage rock holy grail!  Old promotional stock that came directly from a collection of a 60’s upstate New York radio deejay.  Band was famously comped on “Pebbles 1” and numerous other garage rock compilations.  
 This is the incredibly rare blue label promotional advance release of The Wig’s “Crackin’ Up” on Black Knight Records.  The side A label reads “Jocks! Here is Your Advance Copy Of CRACKIN UP.”  I shouldn’t need to mention too much about how incredibly rare this advance promo release is.  I’ve scoured the internet and as far as I can tell there is no recorded history of this promo version being sold online EVER and the only other person I’ve spoken with that owns a copy received it straight from the band’s manager!!  Here’s a once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of Austin, TX psychedelic rock history.

Record: NM/EX+ (appears unplayed w/ a few barely visible sleeve marks on B side)

Please excuse the slight camera reflection visible in the photo.  Record has been placed in a new 7” paper sleeve w/ poly lining & outer polysleeve.

NEAR MINT (NM):  LIKE-NEW VINYL HAS ORIGINAL GLOSS, JACKET IS CLEAN WITH NO WEAR OR MARKS AND NO MARKS ON THE LABEL.

VERY GOOD++ (VG++) OR (EX):  MAY HAVE A FEW SCUFFS OR VERY LIGHT SCRATCHES WHICH DO NOT AFFECT PLAY.  MAY HAVE SOME MINOR RUBS ON THE LABEL OR SPINDLE. DESIRABLE GRADE FOR MOST COLLECTORS.

VERY GOOD+ (VG+):  VINYL AND COVER HAS LIGHT GENERAL WEAR INCLUDING SCRATCHES (MAY BE AUDIBLE), SMALL SPLITS ON THE JACKET AND SOME LABEL WEAR (INCLUDING WRITING).

VERY GOOD (VG):  GENERAL WEAR ON BOTH VINYL AND JACKET, SCRATCHES THAT ARE AUDIBLE, SPLIT JACKET (INCLUDING RINGWEAR) AND LABEL WEAR.
