Description
A nice copy of The Yardbirds mono EP “Five Yardbirds” on the Columbia label (SEG 8421) released in 1965.
Side 1 :- My Girl Sloopy
Side 2 :- I’m Not Talking
I Ain’t Done Wrong
The vinyl grades VG+ and despite faint scuffs/hairlines being visible under strong light, stringent play testing proves them essentially to be inaudible. There is some crackle to the run-ins and run-offs to both sides and a couple of odd pops (these might be eradicated with a deep clean). Generally play is extremely good, certainly there are no extended repetitive clicks.
The sleeve is front laminated and grades VG being bright and without writing or sticker residues. There are some slight laminate wrinkles to the front and the back is slightly grubby.
The blue/black labels are unmarked other than some spindle wear. The matrix numbers are 7TCA 2405-1 & 7TCA 2406-1

For your information the gradings I use are as follows:-
Mint (M) - Brand New (Sealed)
Near mint (NM) - Looks almost unplayed * Cover almost brand new
Excellent (EX) - Maybe a light scuff but otherwise great condition * Cover will have some wear/slight crease/faint ring wear etc
Very good (VG) - Could have scuffing and some light scratches etc *Cover might have some creasing/fading/ring wear/marks or writing but still reasonable condition
Good (G) - Should play through ok but will have plenty of scratches etc * Cover could be ripped/stained/unglued etc
Fair - Very ordinary/ Might play but most likely just for the collection* Cover will be pretty terrible.
