RECORD GRADING

VG+:

There are light surface marks and some light needle scratches which cause a bit of surface noise on the run-in and in a couple of places on the “A” side, but there are no pops or jumps or other major flaws.

LABLE GRADING

Clean labels, just light play marks around the spindle hole

Has some creasing and the back is a little grubby (see photos), but so serious damage.

This rare EP is seriously hard to find in really good condition, most are quite trashed, so if you are looking for a mint copy this is not the one for you, but it is a good playing copy of an EP valued around £100 for a mint copy. I stake my reputation on it.

I always do my best to accurately describe my items as my feedback rating will show and I always check condition under strong light. What I describe is what you get. I deliberately don’t show lots of pictures from every conceivable angle as this takes a long time to do and only gives extra profit to Ebay! But if you are interested in an item and want more photos or more information before you bid, just let me know and I email you direct, but PLEASE give me enough time (1-2 days) before the auction ends to respond. A fuller description on my grading is also given below.

Non Payment - I welcome all potential buyers, but do not appreciate people who ‘bid’ but then do not pay when auctions have ended, so please do not bid if you are not going to buy.

Postage Rates – Standard postage rates for single items are quoted below. I always give discounts for multiple items, so if you want to know total postal charges before bidding, please e-mail me and I will do my best to oblige. RETURN POLICY

GRADES - All records are graded visually (under strong light) and audibly but not always right through, but if I do see a mark that may cause a problem I WILL play it through .Grades are based on the UK Record Collectors Guide, but suffixes (+) & (-) are also used to grade vinyl falling between 2 categories. See definitions below.

MINT - The Record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Covers and inserts are also in perfect condition – I will rarely use this grade and when I do it is with great care.

EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) – My most common grading for high quality vinyl. The record will be as close to mint as you can get and there may be just a hint of use or a sign of one or two plays by one or two very faint surface marks, but definately NO scratches or lessening of sound quality. Any covers and packaging included may show minimal signs of wear and/or creasing.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record will show some signs of having been played and there may be a few very light surface marks, but no scratches or lessening of sound quality. Any covers and packaging included might have slight wear and/or creasing.

EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) - The record will be better than a VG grade and will play as good as an EX grade with very little lessening in sound quality, but will show just a few too many surface marks for a straight "EX" grade. But there will be no scratches to cause jumps or pops when played. There may also be a little general wear and tear on the cover or extra items, but without major defects unless specifically stated.

VERY GOOD (VG) - The record will have been played many times and there will be quite a few surface marks but no major deterioration in sound quality. There may also be the occasional light scratch and there may be a little surface noise on the run in and/or run out, but nothing to cause jumps or pops when played. There may also be some general wear and tear on the cover or extra items, but without major defects unless specifically stated.

GOOD, FAIR, POOR, BAD - I DO NOT knowingly sell records less than VG unless specifically stated.

Feedback  - Positive feedback is important and as a seller I am keen to build a reputation for reliability and quality. I will leave feedback for you once you have advised me that the goods have arrived and are to your satisfaction to enhance both yours and my reputation as a buyer or seller with others.

Terms and Conditions - I will endeavour to finalise your purchase as soon as possible after the auction close, and would like payment within 7 days. I will then dispatch your order within 72 hours (or earlier) of cleared funds being received. Timescales will depend on the method used.
