THIS is part of a collection of promo vinyl that I'll be listing over the next few months. It comes from a prominent 1990s NME journalist. 

IT is a white label test pressing of Swiss industrial band The Young Gods' second album L'Eau Rouge, that was manufactured for Play It Again Sam (Belgium) in 1989. It includes all eight tracks that were on the commercially released LP including the original version of Longue Route, which was later remixed for a single.

The white labels have handwritten band name, catalogue number, and A/B. The  PRESS RELEASE, which includes the track listing, release date, and other info is attached to the plain white poly lined sleeve. The press release is redacted in the photo to prevent copying in order to preserve its rarity for the buyer of this item. This is the actual record that was used for the NME review.

THIS RARE PROMO IS LISTED DISCOGS BUT HAS NEVER BEEN OFFERED FOR SALE ON THE PLATFORM so this could be your only chance to own this piece of original memorabilia.

CONDITION: SHINY VINYL LOOKS UNPLAYED. The condition of any addition items (e.g. press releases) are as seen in the photos.  

A NOTE ABOUT PROMO VINYL ITEMS: They were produced in small quantities by record companies in advance of release date for music business people like record company staff, journalists etc. They were each from a one-off copy run for the record label and were never on sale to the public. 

Everything I list is on a similar coloured background so that you know they are my own photos. 

I am the first and only owner of everything I list unless stated otherwise.

PACKAGING: Your item will be sent mailing envelope designed for 12" records with an additional cardboard stiffener.

The postage & packing charge for this item is the same or less than what it costs for stamps, packaging, and a minimum of 13.5% of the p&p charge taken by eBay & Paypal (yes, they really do that!).
