Description
After about 45 years of owning my record collection, I have decided to start selling my albums and 45’s. I will proceed to give you a short history of my collection before getting to the listing for the particular title in this.Ebay listing.This collection spans mostly the year’s from1963 through 1985. 1985 is the year I started turning over to CD’s, so there are no titles after 1985. I would like to say that 99.9% of these records were bought new from record stores. They were not purchased at flea markets or garage sales.This means that I know the complete history of each record, I am not a professional record grader, so I am not familiar with all of the accepted grading terms, what I am familiar with is the history of each record since opening that shrink wrap. I can’t say each record is perfect, but they always have been handled with care and also they have been played on real good equipment. I will best describe what I see on each piece of vinyl and corresponding cover. These albums have not been played in close to 30 years, and I an in no position to play each record before each auction. They have been stored side by side in 2 large shelving units, in an air conditioned room (no moisture!).
Each auction will feature a picture of the front and back cover and one label. All wear and tear on covers will be described in the listing. Seeing as I can’t play them before auction, I can’t describe any scratches or skids, unless I can actually see something on vinyl when photographing. You are buying as is. I will not accept returns because it would be very easy to switch vinyl on me with a different record. You as buying as is at very fair prices. The type of music is mostly rock of pre-stated era. There are also some soundtracks of Frank Sinatra albums. You may contact me if you are looking for an obscure title or artist. Up for auction here is the original first printing of The Zombies Odessey and Oracle.It was issued in 1968.I say first printing because after Time Of The Season became a hit a year after this release,album was reissued with a severley cropped cover artwork that you may view in other listings.Catalog number isTES 4013 Stereo.Cover is in very good condition.All spines look excellent except bottom corner by cover mouth has a little wear and less than an inch of separation.Vinyl looks great with no scratches showing.Please email with any other questions.IShipping is $8.00 (well protected) and insurance is $3.00.Not responsible for loss or damage if insurance is not bought.Thanks for looking!!!!
