Description
Up for auction is an original 1969 US pressing (DATE TES 4013) of The Zombies' classic psychedelic album entitled ODESSEY & ORACLE. This copy has the original green Date labels with the date logo printed in white above the spindle hole. It also has the original cover artwork which was replaced less than a year later with an entirely different black border design. It is getting more and more difficult to find clean copies of this LP every year. Original UK pressings now regularly sell for over $400 dollars!
ODESSEY & ORACLE is one of the greatest psychedelic rock albums ever recorded. It is widely considered to be The Zombies' best album. It is truly difficult to believe that this album did not sell in greater quantities when it was first issued. It contains timeless, influential music, and every rock 'n roll fan should have a copy in their music library.
