On offer here is a very rare EP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Zombies called 'The Zombies' and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE EP!!!! MOST FIRST PRESSINGS OF THIS EP HAVE A 'P' ON THE LABEL - BUT THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS WITH 'FIRST PUBLISHED' TEXT ON THE LABEL!!!! IT IS MEGA HARD TO FIND THIS EP - AND THIS IS THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING WITH 'FIRST PUBLISHED' TEXT, AN 'UNBOXED' DECCA LABEL AND 1/K 1/K MATRIX ENDINGS!!!! THIS EP IS MEGA RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL MONO UK 1st pressing from 1964 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is DFE 8598 on the ORIGINAL Unboxed Decca label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! It is very VERY rare to find any ORIGINAL copies of this EP. They rarely, if ever turn up at all - let alone in this STUNNING condition!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Zombies at their best!!!! Any fan of Zombies, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in stunning condition!!!! Most of these 60s EPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is not and has NO scratches, 1 non sounding hairline and a couple of tiny marks only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL HAS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!! In fact the record SHINES like a mirror and is as BLACK as the night!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, only a couple of low level clicks (NO loud pops), NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! This is how I FOUND the record, and I have NOT used any nasty chemicals, or buffing machines to make it look better - it GENIUNELY is this STUNNING!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The MONO 1st Press Flipback Cover is also in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO wear, NO grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!! The laminate on the front cover is also incredibly shiny!!!! The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not better - though I feel sure many would grade higher!!!! THIS IS A MEGA RARE 1ST PRESS EP AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!!
