Description
Thee Sixpence "My Flash On You" b/w "Fortune Teller" 45 on Dot 16959. By what I found on the web, this band was the origins of what would become the psychedelic band, Strawberry Alarm Clock.
The black labeled vinyl on this 45 is in good condition with a fair amount of whispy sleeve marks, light scratches, and scuffs, most visually noticeable to the beginning of Fortune Teller side. Please give a listen to the sound clip below, which is from the actual record in this auction, of the first minute and the ends of each side, and once you do, I think you'll realize as I did, that the condition issues are more visual than aural, but my grading above is visual only, but this 45 sounds so much better than the visual grade. For myself, I actually edited the Fortune Teller side and was able to cleanly edit out the clicks/pops at the intro and the outro, so if you have even basic sound editing software, you can make this song sound really nice. Please take a look at the photos below of each side of the label to view the label condition.
