This one is the 1st mono and deep-groove pressing of Thelonious Monk's BRILLIANT CORNER. Riverside Records RLP 12-226. This is an original issue from Riverside Records, released in 1957, not a reissue version.  White Labels and Deep Groove on both labels.  One of the best world class jazz titans lineup for Riverside Records. Rare item.


For me, this is one of the best of Monk's.


Thelonious Monk (piano), Sonny Rollins (tenor saxophone), Ernie Henry (alto saxophone), Clark Terry (trumpet), Oscar Pettiford and Paul Chambers (bass), Max Roach (drums). 


The vinyl plays ALMOST LIKE NEW on both sides.


The cover is rated NM.  The spine is intact and readable.


The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.
