Description
Vinyl appearance has multiple marks but it plays without a skip. Has occasional background audio distortion. Nothing too overwhelming but it’s there. A NM copy can and has gone for well over $100. Please look at the pics and read my grading scale. I played both sides.
Many of my records have been from original purchases at record stores in the late 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. I played the 45’s on a small portable record player in the early 60’s and then purchased and played these on a Techics and Fisher Direct Drive turntables.
45’s: I have played both sides of the 45 rpm records and if there is even one skip I do not list it for sale.
Albums: I play both sides of the more valuable albums but the others I list according to appearances and make note of such. If you have any complaints at all, please notify me before reviewing.
I spin clean the records prior to shipping and replay them to verify my grade.
Very Good (VG)
The item’s defects will be more pronounced. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music. Wear will start to be noticeable, such as with light scratches on vinyl (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels, covers, and sleeves may be marred by writing or have tape, stickers, and residue attached. However, a VG item will not have all of these problems at the same time.
