RARE ORIGINAL EP featuring tracks;

on Original DECCA RECORDS 45RPM EP DFE 8612 from 1965 in MONO
This cool EP is from the early days of THEM, and the sleeve tells the story of how they'd only come together a summer before, with the enigmatic legendary VAN MORRISON joining with Pat McAuley.
Coinciding with the success of their second single, this EP was put out to represent more of their great exuberant, almost 'garage' beat style to the waiting public - predating their next biggie 'Here Comes The Night', which was soon to storm the charts to no.2
You can hear in these grooves a naivety and youthful enthusiasm for their music coming through, and without the effects and layers that studios were later insistent upon from record productions.
Not a top playing copy, but very worthwhile music by early greats on the British beat boom scene.
Along with The Rolling Stones, this was raw and authentic, tough R'n B!
CONDITION
This laminated COVER is in respectable VG+ shape to the front, the back is VG- due to some felt-pen and staining (see photos)
The VINYL is visually G+ to VG with marks and scuff - so not really a beauty.... except it does play through without skips, and the Decca deep grooves present a strong sound with accepted crackle.
LABLES are VG+, no stickers, or stains, several spindle-lines.
