Description
This is an overall very good original mono US pressing copy of the second LP by Van Morrison's British Invasion R&B group Them, released in 1966. The record is an abridged version of the band's identically titled second UK LP (12/16 tracks), and while it includes no big (US) hits or epochal tracks like "Gloria," it does contain the band's version of the fuzzed out rocker "I Can Only Give You Everything," which was widely covered. The jacket is well worn, having a 4” split in and 4” piece of tape on another part of the top seam, a 1½” and second small split in the bottom seam, ring wear and staining on both the front and back covers, residue from a small price sticker on the front cover, and creasing along the spine on the front cover -- overall VG(-). Visually, the disc has a fair amount of hairline scratches and scrapes, dings, and scuffing. Like other discs of this vintage, though, it was made to last, and plays well overall with mostly light surface noise and some mostly light popping -- VG(+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
