1970/Canada/Happy Tiger Records  HT-1004….. here’s a rare original pressing of this psych lp loaded with great fuzz guitar by Jerry Cole. The cover is in solid VG+ to VG++ condition, light shelf wear, there is some corner wear and a few spots of light seam wear on top and bottom seams, some light aging on white back cover, otherwise solid and clean with no splits or delete. The vinyl is in M-  condition! The record looks and plays clean. Clean labels show no spindle marks/wear. A gorgeous copy of this rare Psych lp. This is THEM's first offering on the Happy Tiger label with their producer Ray Ruff, who has produced the group since their inception. This is also the first work THEM has released in nearly two years. The delay was necessitated by the departure of Van Morrison from his position as lead vocalist, and the resulting search for just the right replacement. Once again, Henderson's leadership wouldn't allow a compromise in the THEM sound, and now everyone is confident, as you will agree when you hear this record, that THEM has made an exellent choise in Jerry Cole.

Together, Cole and Henderson have created a sound that is so unique that it must speak for itself; the proof is in the listening, as with all great music. Beginning with the unmistakable British flavor that pervades all of these selections, Alan, Jerry and Ray Ruff have stretched their musical imaginations to the limit. Using instrumental sounds reminiscent of a Synthesizer and pushing Jerry Cole's voice from exterme highs to deep lows, the THEM sound combines the typical British style with an air of mystery and an atmosphere of excitement that no other group has been able to produce. There can be absolutely no doubt - this album moves from start to finish with an uninhibited, free, wild, charging sound, and it will take anyone within listening range along with it. GRADING

MINT: I consider only New Unplayed or Sealed items.

NM OR M- or Mint Minus is the same to me, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.

EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have a few minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.

VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
