HAPPY PEOPLE EVERYWHERE ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by THEODORKING GROUP aka THEODOR KING aka ROSARIO SFERRAZZA. Original Italian private pressing on YOUNG RECORDS label (YO3), from circa 1975. Obscure disco dub featuring an infectious fender rhodes hook and psychedelic funky rhythms. A bit like Italy's answer to the bump and hustle disco of early Patrick Adams P & P productions or Disco Juice compilation style theme. HAPPY PEOPLE EVERY WHERE was an indie DIY creation by Rosario Sferrazza who played all the instrumentation. Bouncy, electric piano topped with hippie flute / wah wah / cowbell percussion breaks / proto house 4/4 tempo drums / hammond and spacey synthesizer. Clever tempo changes throughout with some studio trickery / tape manipulation, especially when the track moves up a gear over the last minute or so. Great for DJs. Comped on Parasol Island - Beachfreaks 3 by the lovely Charles Bals :) Please note that this is a split single with a another artist called Enzo backed by Theodor King (get it?) on flute and everything else. Stoned, psychedelic pop with trippy dub FX to Enzo's vocals and lo-fi hip hop drums in there too. Rare 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with a few hairlines from sleeve removal. Light surface noises and a couple of soft pops in places but most probably due to the actual private pressing. The picture sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with some ring creasing and dirt marks to the Theodorking Group side. The Enzo side (not shown) has more wear around the edges. Rare 45!!!
