They Must Be Russians same 7" privately issued by the band (RVS 001) in the UK, 1979. ****** Rec:m- Cov:ex****** In 1979, They Must Be Russians released the rarely offered self-titled debut EP offered here. Recorded at Western Works, Sheffield March 1979 and produced by Cabaret Voltaire. The four tracks present were "Nagasaki's Children", "Nellie The Elephant", "Circus" and "I Want To Hold You Now". None of the tracks appeared on their 1983 self-titled debut album. The Sheffield, England new wave band sort of faded into the sunset in 1986. White label release included an A4 poster info sheet. Thanks to Chris, Mal and Richard for making the tea. Since the E.P. was recorded Tony Russian has left the band and been replaced by Carl on bass, and Brendan on effects.
