Description
JT's 1972 recording on the Chrysalis label no. CHR1003. It's the one in the form of a (very amusing) local newspaper. All tracks were written by Ian Anderson.
The matrix number on side 1 is CHR 1003 A-3U with "PORKY" etched into the vinyl and on side 2 it's CHR 1003B-2U with "PECKO" etched in. When I played the disc through recently, I heard occasional random clicks but nothing serious especially for a record of this age. Otherwise, I detected no sound of scratches or jumps.
The bottom seam of the "newspaper" outer cover has come unstuck but is easily repairable. Apart from this, both it and the inner paper sleeve are intact but beginning to show signs of age.
The photos suggest a considerable colour variance across the newspaper pages I think this was a lighting issue when I took them; in reality, the pages are much more uniform in colour.
I have been the sole owner of the album since its purchase.
