Description

Those Old Records

Artist: Thin Lizzy

Title: Shades Of A Blue Orphanage

Label: Decca - Blue/Green label

Catalogue No:S 108

Matrix Numbers: ZAL 11209 P-2/ZAL 11210 P-3

Condition - Vinyl - The record is in Excellent + condition, this is a truly stunning copy of an album released way back in 1972. There isn't a single blemish on this record - that mean - no scratches, no spindle marks - no finger prints, no sleeve wear - nothing. This record looks like new - it has retained the "as new" sheen of a brand new record. You will not be dissapointed with this wonderful copy.

Labels: Both labels are clean - this is Decca Boxed - this album was never released in the unboxed version. Generally, the labels are dark blue, this copy is a blue/green colur - one that I haven't come across before.

Condition - Sleeve - The Robert Stace gatefold sleeve is in Excellent + condition. Edges and corners are fine, the spine is clearly readable - looks great.

Inner: The lined Decca inner is intact and in Excellent + condition

Description: 1972 classic from Thin Lizzy. Great album in wonderful condition. I used to drink in the poub that they rehersed in in Stockport back in the seventies.

Record Grading:

All records are graded as per the standards set by Record Collector, if you are not familiar with the standards then please do as most sellers refer to these. All records are examined under a strong light and graded accordingly. In addition, most records are played on high quailty equipment should there be any doubt of the grading required. All records are housed in new inners and stored upright in a cool shaded area. Records are housed in high grade polythene outers.

Packaging:

Please note that packaging is of the highest quality, I use professional mailers at all times, each record is supported by 2- 12" cardboard mailers. The inner sleeve and record are packed individually in order to reduce wear on the sleeve in transit. The record, inner and cardboard stiffeners are then packed inside a high grade polythene record protector before being sealed in the mailer. The mailer is then supported by tape around the edges in order to minimise risk.
