An Absolutely Outstanding Psych/Experimental Album from the very end of the 60's. Recorded and Released in 1969. Sold in limited numbers in its time so very few Original pre EMI logo issues remaim.
The record is in excellent condition, on the Original Harvest Label. (pre EMI logo). Most copies of this record will be the later issues with the EMI logo. This is the Very First Pressing issue of 1970.
Both label sides show few signs of spindle marking or wear to the centre labels. The Labels are very clean, no writing or grubby marks. Excellent, great condition.
Very First Pressing Harvest with "The Gramophone Co Ltd" around the rim and Made In Gt Britain on the label base, NO EMI logo.
The Vinyl is very clean clean. The surface of the record is excellent, nice condition, virtually no visible surface marks, under very strong light some very very light surface marks can be detected, as is common with records of this age. Record plays very well , virtually free of any background hiss, if very critical there is slight noise to lead in where needle has dropped, and quieter tracks, as is quite unusual for records of this age and era!, but plays through very well. Overall excellent sound quality. Nice High Gloss Deep Black Thick Heavy Duty Vinyl, very typical of the early Harvest albums and Classic Stereo sound.
All round excellent example of ths extremely rare Record.
The Gatefold Sleeve is in very good condition. This is the laminated finish thick card sleeve. There are No creases, No dirty marks, No unwanted stickers on the sleeve, clean and in very good condition. Please note 1" tear on rear opening edge which has been repaired with tape, hardly noticable, and rear top edge has athin line of clear tape which can probably be easily removed with care, again does not detradt from sleeve. All the outer edges are reasonably sharp, some light edge wear. The spine is in good order, minimum edge wear, intact. The corners are very good, slight edge wear, no dents or creases. the Inneer gatefold is in very good order. The opening edges to the sleeve have signs of slight creaing on opening edge and avetry tiny split. Original Sleeve printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd..
Overall an excellent, Lovely and and honest example of this very rare classic record.
