HI I AM SELLING A THIRD MAN RECORDS VAULT #10 VERY RARE IT INCLUDES THE RACONTEURS 12" SPLIT BLACK AND BLUE VINYL BRAND NEW SEALED.
The 12" is none other than the Raconteurs live at Third Man. In what easily qualifies as the most intimate gig of their career, the Racs' return to stage after a nearly three-year hiatus provides a blistering and bombastic document to the magnetic power of this band in the live arena. The effusive crowd, the crack horn section and brief jam on the Who’s "I Can See For Miles" are all included here. Life doesn't get much better than this.
But when it does, we think it involves guys like Beck, Josh Homme and Mark Lanegan. We could fill up reams documenting the accomplishments of these folks, but we'd rather just tell you that for our 7" this quarter Beck remixed the White Stripes "The Hardest Button to Button" while Homme and Lanegan tag-teamed a remix of the Dead Weather's "Hang You From the Heavens."
Our wild card entry for Vault #10 is the mighty-impressive visual document of Third Man's 2010 Devil's Night party. Filled with live performances from the Black Belles (their first time on stage!) and the Greenhornes (conspicuously looking like ZZ Top) MC'd by the vivacious Elvira (Mistress of the Dark), the evening was something those who were in attendance will not soon forget.
