Terry Stamp and Jim Avery hold the distinction of forming Third World War - probably the UK's first, for real, “punk" or "aggro” band. Formed in London at the turn of the 70s, Third World War released two proto-punk albums in the very early '70s. Third World War featured an aggression unheard of at that time. Terry Stamp’s explosive vocals, lyrics, chopper guitar style and Jim Avery’s West London, hardnut, two fisted, riff and chord approach proved unbeatable, (even thirty years on). Their socio-political agenda and proto-punk guitar style prefigured the emergence of UK “working-class” punk bands by some five years.

The LP is on the *FLY* Record Labels, with circled P date 1971.

Both record labels are in Mint Minus condition, super clean record labels with signs of only a couple of plays to each label.

The album plays without faults through all the Tracks, interesting listening experience!

Both sides of the heavy vinyl disc are in superb Mint Minus condition, super clean glossy vinyl surfaces with just a couple of hairlines.

The LP comes in a white Made in England record bag.

Also included with the album is it’s original 12”x12” Lyric sheet which is in Mint condition.

And housed in it’s original Fully Laminated Picture Sleeve which is in Excellent Plus condition. The sleeve is superb with just mild record storage signs, and light corner bumps.
