FETISH RECORDS 1979
Legendary first LP by Industrial gods THROBBING GRISTLE which goes by the title, 2nd Annual Report. Original first pressings were released on their own private ‘Industrial’ label as a limited edition of 785 copies way back in 1977. This is a rare 1979 reissue of the 1977 LP (catalogue number FR 2001). There is RE-CUT MARCH 1979 BY STEVE ANGEL printed on the back of the sleeve. This second pressing was released on the British ‘Fetish’ label and is not the later 1983 release on Daniel Miller’s ‘Mute’ label.
Again, this is the rare pressing on ‘Fetish’ and NOT the later ‘Backwards Recorded’ version. The following track listing is printed on the label. ‘Industrial Introduction’ / ‘Slug Bait - ICA’ / ‘Slug Bait - Southampton’ / ‘Slug Bait - Brighton’ / ‘Maggot Death - Studio’ / ‘Maggot Death - Rat Club’ / ‘Maggot Death - Southampton’ / ‘Maggot Death - Brighton’ / ‘After Cease to Exist - The Original Soundtrack of the Coum Transmissions Film’. The band includes Genesis P-Orridge who formed PSYCHIC TV and Peter Christopherson was a member of COIL The vinyl is in near mint condition (superclean). The sleeve is in excellent condition (very clean) and original questionnaire is included (mint).
