Description
Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:
TITLE & ARTIST: "THUNDER ON BLUE RIDGE (Sounds of Steam Railroading Vol. 3" - on the O. Winston Link Railway Productions label (No. 3), in beautiful original STEREO sound, issued circa 1959.
CONDITION: JACKET - Excellent(Jacket has very light overall wear; light corner/edge wear; light soiling back cover; 4" split at top seam opening - please see actual album in photos); VINYL - Near Mint(Vinyl is shiny, with a few light scuffs - visually examined using special daylight balanced spotlight).
SPECIAL FEATURES: Rare original STEREO version of Link's Railway Productions Series, Vol. 3 (with Stereo stickers added front and back on this very early stereo copy). Don't miss this extremely rare and extremely historical selection of steam train sounds, complete with extensive and detailed notes on back. Of course, the giant appeal of this album is the spectacular cover photo by the legendary train photographer, O. Winston Link, who became famous for his night - time black and white train photos (please see examples on back cover). Don't miss this extremely rare treasure.

OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
