Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This super rare and hard to find 45 by a group named Tico and The Triumphs - which features an early Paul Simon - from back in 1961. It is on the original, purple and silver, Amy Label, (835) and is in excellent condition (please see the pics above and read on). The classic 45 is entitled "Motorcycle/I Don't Believe Them" and, as already mentioned, appears to me to be in very nice condition - so please read on. As a sidebar here, both songs on this 45 were written in one of several "alias names" used by Paul Simon in the late 50's and early 60's - Jerry Landis - check it out! I also have many more 45's, EP's and LP's by other 50's-60's artists to list as well, so please continue to check out my site - thank you! LABEL INFO: This original, Amy Label (835) is really clean and nice with no visible flaws at all - in fact, I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me very little, if any, actual play. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing in need of a mention either - to me, it too is almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes this rare and highly collectible 45 very clean and nice - not to mention how difficult it is to find anymore, so please have at it. As always, I have begun the auction at a very low opening bid and have not listed it with any reserve price - just free and open bidding - so good luck!. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and even some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to list yet -- of all varieties and genres. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $15.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $3.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services.
