This is the very rare first pressing of the "Tighten Up" compilation LP .Released by Trojan Records in 1969 as Trojan TTL1.The LP contains twelve excellent tracks pressed on thick black vinyl.

* The cover is laminated on the front and comes with its original orange and black 14/6 price sticker.The spine is intact and has no splits.The front of the LP cover is very shiny with only a very, very slight fient sign of ringwear in the centre of the cover which has to be held into the light to see (hardly noticeable in fact).There is slight wear to the LP corners and the opening.The rear of the cover is very clean with a slight signof ringwear to the centre of the cover (again very minimal).

** The record is pressed in thick black vinyl and has matt bright orange paper labels with blackprint.Both A and B labels around the centre hole have signs of being played.Side A has a red ink stamp across the label which has faded over the years (looks like the stamp from a piano shop called Parvens Pianos in Barnet).Both sides of the LP look very clean and bright in Excellent Condition.There is a mark on both sides of the LP across the first two tracks.The mark is not deep and does not sound when played.The record sounds superb when played.

*** Considering the LP is around 47 years old it comes in wonderful condition.This LP came in a collection of LP's which had been stored in a record case from the late 1960 early 1970's.The other records did not amount to anything interesting except for this one.This is possibly the best condition copy of this LP which I have seen for a long time.
