This is an original UNITED KINGDOM first pressing of GREETINGS FROM L.A. from the legendary TIM BUCKLEY. Tim was known as a pioneer of challenging music and so back in 72 his un commercial records were produced in tiny numbers. Its very hard to find any ORIGINAL first UK pressings of any of his LP`s and to find this particular LP sleeve with the die cut post card still attached is near impossible. This very delicate original gate fold sleeve is in exceptional condition. Just a few corner and edge ware and the post card is still attached by 3 of its perforations , amazing when you consider its nearly 46 years old ! Very slight ring ware to the back but really bright and clean all round . The original inner sleeve is here and all the spinal writings can be read clearly.
Side one of the vinyl has really light hair lines and there are 3 light scuff marks to track one but they make no sound to intrude on the listeners enjoyment. Side 2 has hair lines also but nothing you can feel and the vinyl still gleams and shimmers under a bright light. I have test played the LP and it plays superbly all the way. Any one out there fed up of the hamster wheel and after a musical challenge Try Tim Buckley once you find a way in you too will see this man was a real genius. The sleeve and record grade a conservative VERY GOOD ++.
