TIM BUCKLEY, STARSAILOR, ON STRAIGHT WS1881. THIS ALBUM WAS MADE IN 1970 AND IS STILL SEALED.....NEVER OPENED/NEVER PLAYED. THIS LOOKS GREAT!!! THE CORNERS HAVE POKED THROUGH JUST A LITTLE AND SHOW A LITTLE WEAR, BUT IT'S GREAT OTHER THAN THAT!!!! THERE IS A SMALL PRICE STICKER ON THE FRONT, IN THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER, BUT I'LL LEAVE THAT FOR THE BUYER TO REMOVE. THE SONGS ARE; COME HERE WOMAN, I WOKE UP, MONTEREY, MOULIN ROUGE, SONG TO THE SIREN, JUNGLE FIRE, STARSAILOR, THE HEALING FESTIVAL, DOWN BY THE BODERLINE.
The album was Tim Buckley's worst seller and is believed to have sold less than 10,000 copies in the United States. The abysmal commercial failure of this project caused Buckley to go into a 2-year self-imposed hiatus as a recording artist and even try his luck as a cab driver. Original copies of this magnificent psych/acid album are INORDINATELY hard to find and the remaining copies are getting harder and harder to find with each passing day.
For its extraordinary contribution to the modern music, superb production, craftsmanship, fine musicianship, revolutionary significance and influence it exerted on numerous generations of musicians, writers and general public, this album was voted one of top-100 albums of all time in one of the largest poll of critics, music reviewers, professionals and producers ever organized.
