TISM Great Truckin' Songs of the Renaissance - RARE first pressing 2LPs. Condition is Very good. Sent with Australia Post Standard Service in sturdy LP mailer.
This is the rare first pressing with the textured cover. It has barely been played and well looked after. The record has been spot-checked for playability and sounds like new. I couldn't resist one last playthrough of "Morrison Hostel" and it sounds as magnificent as ever. Ooh, that viny warmth!
Overall the condition of everything is Near Mint EXCEPT for the label on Side 3 which is bubbling, but still attached firmly to the record (see pictures) . This appears to be a manufacturing flaw of some sort. The records have no marks or scratches and the sleeve is virtually as new. I'm listing it at a slightly lower starting price because of the label flaw, or you can go nuts and jump on the ridiculous But It Now price if you get in before the rush.
This was the first album by TISM (This is Serious Mum) and was the follow-up to their "Form and Meaning Reach Ultimate Conclusion" EP. On this record TISM expanded on their existentialist post-modern faux-Marxist conjunctivist philosophy and reached the pinnacle of artistic expression on more than a handful of tracks. Highly recommended by the Country Women's Association or Mordialloc (now disbanded).
And remember, if you buy this piece of vinyl then you can consider yourself a bigger wanker than Jim Morrison (SIDE 4 TRACK 7)

On 25-Sep-19 at 21:37:39 AEST, seller added the following information:*** Note to bidders *** After a final examination today I discovered a light scuff on the last track on Side One. A playback-check however revealed that this does not affect the audio at all. The vinyl is still well within the VG+ rating and probably still closer to NM than VG.
Just wanted to make sure there were no surprises.
