Description

Very nice copy of the original 1975 US pressing of Tito Cortes’ Te Mata La Pena LP on Fuentes FLP-0247. Columbian superstar singer doing a Ranchera thing here. One of his classic albums, and featuring one of the most famous album covers of the era, showing a South American cafe with a jukebox. I have seen this cover reproduced many places, but this is where it comes from. The disc has a few marks but they are really only superficial. It plays very nearly perfectly with only tiny crackle in between some songs. Really a beautiful player. The cover has light wear mainly at the edges. The lower seam is split for about 2”. Some scuffing and fraying on the edges but overall really a nice cover. This is a great copy of this classic. Hard to beat.
