TOAD HALL
The Toad Hall album is typical pop with the occasional track that catches the ear. There's some reasonable fuzz guitar work on Elegy On A Brick Wall and some Byrds-influenced guitar playing on Storybook Love. Some of the pop, notably On The Beach and A Thousand Years is quite melodic. Tommy Marcus wrote most of the material but not surprisingly it's yet to capture the interest of many collectors. The band seem to have gotten their initial break after being taped as house band
