Legendary LP titled 'Word Music' where this turned on hippie poet puts layers of words into a trippy format with sparse bits of guitar, drum, flute, effects scattered about...I've flipped many people out with it when playing them my copy...it's very '60s subject matter & very weird sounding! "Conversation" is totally bizarre dad & kid alienated track where the kid finally starts chanting "dad...dad...dad...I just want to touch you". "Unawareness", "Love", "One Boy Has Died In The War", "Revolution", "Nonsense", "Mantra" etc...not your typical hippie poetry, this one has layers & his voices get really out there, trancy minimal unique. A killer item for fans of counterculture '60s vibes. Issued on a small poet label CMS # 615 in 1971 and this copy is M-/M- in shrinkwrap. Whatta wacko LP!
