1970
This album is just as it was when it was first sold over the counter of a 1970's record shop!!! It is not ver often that you come across a vinyl of such superior quality. As such this is the ultimate VAULT copy!!!
ELUSIVE PROGMONSTER!!!! IN A UNIQUE NM CONDITION!!!
!!!!AN IMPOSSIBLE FIND!!!GORGEOUS EX!!! A few hundred (rumoured to be around the 800-1000 mark) copies worldwide only!!! SOOOOOOOOOOO very rare!!!!!
In all my years this is only the third time I have come across this absolute STUNNER. The rarity of this LP is not to be underestimated!!! Most of these will now be tucked away in major collections across the four corners of the Earth. Only 800-1000 are rumoured to be about. Rare ... anyone?? Sensational sound quality, NO skips or jumps. NO clicks, this is really a stunning heavy vinyl with a beautiful deep gloss. This vinyl does not seem to have been played at all!!! A definite NM!!! Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled.
I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more in-depth observation. I am very glad to say that there are not any jumps or skips. Unbelievably as it may sound there is not any background noise at all, there are no hairlines or scuffs at all!! Very remarkable for this 1970 vinyl!!! Great songcraft, with Ken Hensley and Lee Kerslake of the later Uriah Heep on board, no wonder this album is now so sought after. I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!
Sleeve: EX++. Front laminated sleeve with three flipbacks to the back. The backsleeve is matt. My apolgies for the front picture which shows reflections of our net curtain. The sleeve is phenomenal!!! Only one small crease near the top left corner, hard to notice. All edges are sharp and crisp WITHOUT WEAR!!! NO writing or doodling. NO tears or rips and no large creases. The spine is fully legible.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible!!!
Plain white inner.
Labels are NM with only minor spindling.
