Description
This LP is Tom Paxton's first record. I'm The Man That Built The Bridges. Recorded live at the Gaslight Cafe in Greenwich Village in 1962. Released on the Gaslight label. Only 2000 of these were pressed making this a very rare album. Number GV 116. Album features Barry Kornfield on guitar & banjo and Gil Robbins(Actor Tim Robbins father) on bass. 12 songs in all. They are: Side one:
1. I'm The Man That Built The Bridges.
2. I'm Bound For The Mountaind and The Sea.
3. The Fatal Glass.
4. Every Time.
5. Willie Seton.
6. My Dog's Bigger Than Your Dog. (This song was later used for the Ken-L-Ration dog food commercial.)
Side two:

3. The Marvelous Toy.
4. When Morning Breaks.
5. Goin' To The Zoo.
6. Deep Fork River Blues.
This record is in very good condition. Vinyl has some surface scuffing but sounds great. No deep scratches. Cover has wear around the edges and corners. No seam splits. Some soiling and ring wear on the front with previous owners name and street name inked on the top back. Back of cover has some soiling with foxing. Comes with plain white sleeve.
