Very nice copy of Tom Waits' amazing self produced LP "Swordfishtrombone". I do believe its a 1st edition, with a minor variant, I cant seem to find this one, but here's the scoop: It's on Island records with the PURPLE record label, in the Side One dead wax it says: JS KENDUN B-18561-C TO KATHLEEN AND KELLESIMONE SLM 5273 1-1 ST IL 835297C and Side Two says: ST IL 835298-C JS KENDUN B-18562-C SLM 5273-X 1-1. So for you serious collectors, there it is, any other questions, let me know. The vinyl on here is clean and shiny, and does have a couple of very faint small spots on one song, and in the sunlight you can see many tiny little lines that i don't see under the light, and there is some very faint crackle in quiet passages, otherwise, it's certainly a VG+ sounding LP. It comes wrapped in the original lyric sleeve, also in great shape, and the cover is very solid, very little edge wear, a bright and legible spine, a very small amount of ring wear seen at the very top and very bottom of the front and back, NO splitting, and nice corners with just minor age showing. GREAT COPY of a classic Waits album. This is NOT a new reissue, NOT a cutout, so NO cut corners, NO saw marks, NO holes, just a nice complete package. If you are concerned about the condition, warped or broken or whatever, we can open it for you before mailing it, and if anything is wrong, we'll notify you and you can decide how to proceed.
