TOM ZÉ - "TODOS OS OLHOS" - Superb Brazilian MPB Samba Experimental Folk post-Tropicalia post-Bossa Regional Psychedelic Album. First pressing from 1973 on Continental label.
This album is plenty of curiosities:
1) The master Rogério Duprat plays Cavaquinho (a Brazilian instrument similar to Ukulele with steel strings).
2) The title is “Todos os Ollhos” (All the Eyes). So to imitate an eye the producers hired a model. The jacket art work of which included an in-yours-face gesture to the censors by the military dictatorship: what appears to be a giant yellow eye with gleaming iris is in actuality an asshole set with a marble, shot in soft focus.
