Tommy James and the shondells - cellophane symphony.

An amazing one sided test press of this classic LP. Psych/rock workout on the title track. Very rare uk test press oddity that has the matrix stamp for another classic psych Lp.
The matrix stamp here is for the rare psych LP killing floor on spark records. This has to be a one of a kind factory miss press that was never replicated.
Maybe the pressing plant mistakenly pressed the tommy James Lp and ceased production of the white label testress when realising that the wrong material was within.

Either way. A great slab of psych, just not the correct artist. Try and find another of these.

Plain white label that says made in england and all rights etc around the rim.

Matrix here is SRLP 102 a-3l. Jt mother stamper and the word sel also etched.
Someone has written Afro in pencil on the white label.

Vinyl is vg. Minor wear. Possible background noise in the quiter parts. A great play. Plain paper sleeve.
