Description

Awesome lp from Tony Oxley, the insane British free jazz drummer, titled 4 Compositions For Sextet released in the U.K. on CBS.  Total original!  Just great!  Free form psych/free jazz!  Includes the amazing "Saturnalia".  Joining Oxley on this set are Derek Bailey on Sonny Sharrock-like guitar attack, Evan Parker on tenor saxophone, Kenny Wheeler, Paul Rutherford and Jeff Clyne.  Amazing and rarely seen for sale!  Cover is in EX shape, but many would call this near mint.  I'll be conservative!  The orange label CBS record is in basically near mint (-) with a couple of sleeve marks that do not effect play!  Please see scan for a look at this gem and please see the other free jazz and avant-garde records (including Oxley's Baptised Traveller) I have up for sale on ebay!
