Original Belgium pressing on the PARADE label (P 5024), from 1964. Quirky and futuristic masterpiece by the maverick guitar player, with group. A desirable and important recording from the Belgian rock 'n' roll scene. The amazing LE SATELITTE EN SPACE theme has that quintessentially English and eccentric Joe Meek And The Blue Men - I Hear A New World EP / Telstar sound, with primitive DIY electronics a la Jean Jacques Perrey / Cecil Leuter / Pierre Henry. Experimental rockabilly / agitated rock 'n' roll rhythms using bass / drums and guitars over an early synthesizer or Clavioline style keyboard. Great for DJs. Really hip and trendy music right now. Comped on Collector Items From Belgium Vol 2 and Sin-Sa-Tion! Vol 3 - More Wild Exotic Grooves And Beats. Lots of strange sci-fi noises / loops and samples with tape manipulation / echo chamber FX / spaced-out jukebox jam guitar vamps etc. Surprisingly contemporary and alternative in places. The BEAT ROUTE side is also superb. Moody and groovy like an early Shadows / Duane Eddy recording and also comped on Collector Items From Belgium Vol 2. Brilliant picture sleeve artwork showing the young Presty. Our item also includes the original distributor receipt from Editions Musicales Roland Barbey too. Booming production sound. Seldom comes up for sale. Very rare 45!!

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition overall with hairlines from storage. Booming production sound. Some light surface noises. The fold-out stiff card picture sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with light wear and creasing from storage. A few small dirt marks / stains. Very rare 45!!!
