Description
Absolutely beautiful original 1979 pressing of Tony Rice's Acoustics LP on Kaleidoscope F-10. This was one of his early masterpieces from the time when he was still in David Grisman's incredible band. Grisman himself plays on this record, as well as a litany of other all-time greats: Sam Bush, Mike Marshall, Richard Greene, and Todd Phillips. Tony at his absolute best. And this was a rare release even at the time, being on a small label that only made a limited number of copies. Most copies you see of this album are the later CDs, which came out quite a bit after this LP was out of print. I remember even by the mid 80s this record was really hard to get, and when the CD came out everyone was excited to at last hear it. Anyhow here is the original, and this copy is in just about perfect condition. The disc looks flawless and plays perfectly, and the cover is barely worn in a any way. There is a cutout corner at the top right but aside from that it is almost immaculate. Comes with the original inner as well. A hard copy to beat.
