We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Original 1967 first pressing on the UNI label of the very first Strawberry Alarm Clock album ... classic sunshine psych uplifted by paisley swirled patterns and good vibe grooves ...
Although the Strawberry Alarm Clock (a Los Angeles psychedelic rock band) was best known for their 1967 hit "Incense and Peppermints" and are often noted by hitsville critics as a "one-hit wonder", they actually charted five Top 100 songs as well as two Top 40 songs. More important they offered terrific albums filled to the top with outstanding psychedelic laced melodic & memorable self penned compositions...
The group took its name as an homage to the Beatles' psychedelic hit 'Strawberry Fields Forever'.
The resulting first SAC album is arguably the most intense blast of pure American psychedelia ever released. SAC is generally remembered as being a bright, breezy California head band, but this first effort has moments that are considerably darker than their sunshine image. Helped by Randy Seol's twisted imagination, tracks like "Lose To Live" and "Hummin' Happy" (an ode to sadism!) have a sinister undercurrent. Given that the album starts with an extended psychedelic explosion entitled "The World's On Fire", and that even the stream-of-consciousness lyrics of the title track make mention of "games we choose" with "little to win", the album has a lot more in common with the Doors than one might imagine. Indeed, the quirky "Paxton's Backstreet Carnival" sounds like the Doors on laughing gas. Nevertheless, the album, on the whole is a terrific slice of swirling grooves that are guaranteed to take you to 'where its at' ....
The album is highlighted by wonderful psychedelic passages via organ/fuzz guitar ~~ "The World's On Fire", the ultra trippy "Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow" and "Strawberries Mean Love" are complex, quintessential examples of the sixties psych genre that the listener is assured of getting blissfully lost in.

CONDITION: The cover: is very collectible and tight on all parts, M- VERY CLEAN one of the best covers seen in ages ...no problems such as no seam splits, no bends & no writing = having bright original colors... keeper collectible
The vinyl: apart from some light hazing, the surface is highly clean M- play graded very enjoyable. The UNI labels are also clean...
