The group was formed by fellow classmates while attending Arizona State University in Phoenix, and the 45 was recorded in 1965 at the studios of Audio Recorders, also in Phoenix, and released the same year.
Fuzz, Acid and Flowers indicates that the A Side of this 45, "Hey Tiger", is included on the following compilations: "Tougher Than Stains" (LP), "Boulders Vol.3" (LP) and "Fuzz, Flaykes, And Shakes Vo.5" (LP & CD)

This is one of those great garage two-siders that I've passed on putting up for offer for quite awhile now because of the way it looks. To look at the record, the vinyl appears to be in not much more than good condition. But today I decided to clean both sides on the VPI 16.5 cleaning machine and give it a spin on some decent stereo equipment that doesn't lie about the qualty of the sound of a record. I think we all know that if a record has a scratch and is cleaned on the mighty VPI vacuum cleaning machine, that the VPI cleaning process will not remove a scratch if one is present, but instead it will enhance the sound of the flaw that the scratch may cause and bring it out brighter and more definate than before! What the VPI machine will do for a record is to remove years of dust, dirt, grime, and cigarette smoke, etc. that has settled deep into the grooves, and the end result is the true sound of the vinyl in it's present state. This 45 came through with flying colors! Even though this record has endless tiny swirls and marks, nothing deep mind you just pretty much surface, both sides sound Great! There's still lots of sheen underneath the seemingly endless array of tiny swirl marks! I'm including six different soundbytes for you to check out, not only so you can get a good idea about what these two sides are all about, but so you can also hear how good the record still plays, despite the way it looks. There's no background hiss, etc. So even though this copy's is way less than mint in it's appearence, it still rings clear and is most worthy of your personal collection until the day you find that elusive Near Mint looking copy that we would all like to own.
I'll be posting better pics of both labels in the morning when I can photograph them under natural light. The burgandy background with the silver print didn't fare too well under 100 watt lighting conditions tonight.
