Description
Every Tuesday night (European time) I will offer old punky records. My name is ‘punky_music’
Perfect melody punk from England. You are bidding on John Peel's second favourite punk single. Both tracks are real models, topped with hyper-melodic and fresh-sounding summertime melodies. Released on their own private mini label ‘Tours’ records in 1979 (matrix number T 1). eBay prices: £35 + £36 + $64. This catchy 2-tracker is their first out of two 7” records and features the charmers ‘Language School’ and ‘Foreign Girls’. With the band is Ronnie Mayor from melody punk band DA BIZ and Richard Mazda who, after the TOURS split in January 1980, resurfaced in the COSMETICS and later produced the likes of FALL, ATV and WALL OF VOODOO. To add to the appeal of this outstanding item is a xeroxed info/bio sheet which starts with the words ‘Tours formed in May 1978 and first performed at...’. As you know several different PVC color sleeves exist. This one was born in light blue plastic sleeve (see scan).

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
Payment / Bezahlung: via PayPal. All orders which exceed a value of £20 or €25 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional of £2 or €2,50.
