Laminated gatefold sleeve with white text grades VG; there is some obvious but light ringwear on both sides, light thumb opening and edge creases, corner and edge scuffing and the front opening side has a seam split at the bottom of 1.5 inches, with the other opening corners starting to show signs of split. Also a tiny split on one opening edge inside the gatefold close to the cat. no. at the bottom. The inside seam is also scuffed, with a little laminate loss to one side. Sounds a lot, but these are relatively minor points on what is still a very nice sleeve structurally and in terms of colour.
Vinyl matrices:
Side A: 61300 8 (stamped and scratched out) 9 (stamped and scratched out) 8 (hand etched) A//1 12 13
Side D: 61300 9? (stamped and scratched out) 8 (hand etched) B//1 15 2
Side B: 61300 8 (stamped and scratched out) 9 (hand etched) A (hand etched) B (stamped and scratched out) //1 12 2
Side C: 3? 61300 9? (stamped and scratched out) 9 (hand etched) 8 (hand etched and scratched out) B (hand etched) A (stamped and scratched out) //1 1 2
Grading:
Side A: Lots of light lines across the surface cause light background noise throughout, more evident at the start and becoming less audible on later tracks and there is one, more prominent, though still light, line towards the end of this side causing a few more audible clicks. Still good strong audio and overall GRADES VG.
Side D: Lots of light lines across the surface cause light background noise throughout, more evident at the start and becoming less audible on later tracks. Still good strong audio and overall GRADES VG.
Side B: Lots of light lines across the surface cause light background noise throughout, more evident at the start and becoming less audible on later tracks and there are two more prominent, though still light, lines on tracks 2 and 4, causing a few more audible clicks. Still good strong audio and overall GRADES VG.
Side C: Lots of light lines across the surface cause light background noise more evident at the start and becoming less audible on later tracks, and there is one small line (0.5 inch) on track 2 causing a few more prominent clicks. Still good strong audio and overall GRADES VG.
The very strong audio of this rare LP makes it a very good playable copy, despite some visual issues on the vinyl and some minor points on the sleeve.
