PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
CRAZY RARE original Specialty audiophile white label PROMOTIONAL first pressing from 1988 on Elektra pressed on BROWN TRANSLUCENT Quiex virgin vinyl with promotional text to the left of the center hole on both labels, printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics, original three-song hype sticker in the top right hand corner on the front cover exclusive to advance promotional pressings (stock copies had them on the shrink wrap), ovate audiophile hype sticker in the bottom left hand corner on the front cover and promotional text at the top on the rear cover in customary gold embossed lettering. Looks cool as all hell when held up to a light. LP is VG/VG+ with some very light scuffs. Cover is VG with a small top left hand corner promo notch and a small peel spot on the rear where an unscrupulous vendor removed the serial number so as not to get caught selling his promotional copy that was illegal to sell. Includes the devastatingly beautiful Fast Car, one of the best songs in the history of recorded music in this collector's never humble opinion. How can anyone not get misty-eyed when that snare drum cracks and the chorus kicks in? If you're not moved by that song it may be time to have your soul checked. Every music fan in the world should own this LP if not just for that song but the entire album is stellar.

GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
