'MORNING WAY'
on the original DAWN RECORDS LP, cat# DNLS 3004 in STEREO from 1970
After leaving FAIRPORT CONVENTION after their first (excellent) album, Judy Dyble formed this great folk band with Jackie McAuley from the original THEM. The harmony work here is often sublime, and in my opinion there's not a weak track on the album. The sparkling harpsichord embellishes well, some flute arrangements too - and all to great effect in every respect.
For the British (often called 'acid', but I don't particularly prefer this term) psych-folk enthusiast, I believe this record is indispensable
A rare release especially nowadays, and a collectible gem in SUPER playing shape.
The heavy and solid press Dawn vinyl is in WONDERFUL EX condition, playing practically as new - without any pops or disturbing crackle.
Lables are bright and clean NM.
The lovely laminated gatefold sleeve cover is very respectable EX-, with only the lightest of any wear, a small top seam-split. The supreme artwork is spotless!
